ESV beach day

Oh the beach.... Well ESV decided that we needed a "girl" day, so off we went to the beach. Did we know where we were going??? No. Of course not, we let the car lead the way.....or we drove until we could find parking. We started in Oceanside and ended up in Cardiff. Seriously a beautiful drive. God made everything beautiful in creation. It really does remind you of the beauty and majesty of our great God.
After a relaxing time laying out in the sun, we were off once again on a journey in the car. It is always an adventure when we are together. About 10 minutes after our snack stop, we were waiting at a red light behind about four men on motorcycles. One of these lovely men decided to start a fight and spit on a man inside of a tow truck next to then. (Yes this all took place at a red light right in front of our car) The tow truck guy drove away from these "special" guys. This made a member of ESV very angry and ready to fight with the guys on the motorcycles (This member will remain nameless to protect her innocence). We had to remind all members of ESV to keep windows rolled up at all times and that cheese its and oreos are not throwing devices. What can I say? That's ESV!!!
After our moment with the motorcyclists, we had dinner on the pier and enjoyed some sweet fellowship followed by a scenic drive home. GOTTA ESV!!! ALWAYS ADVENTURE!!!

Papa Joe's Diner

Saturday was another special day for ESV. Through the use of the most amazing coupon book (the entertainment book, E discovered a restaurant by the name of Papa Joe's Diner which made E and I decide that we needed to take S and "Papa Joe" to his diner. After careful planning, E and I told S and "Papa Joe" that we planned a special surprise on Saturday for them. We didn't tell them where we were going and E and I actually wanted to blind fold them but we decided not when the time came. So E and I (Bro. Kevin and a friend came too!) drove them to the pizza place in Riverside. Yes, we drove alllllll the way to Riverside just for pizza. As we pulled up, all the driving was worth the reaction from both of them. We just love our "fam". Being brothers and sisters in Christ is a wonderful blessing that provides all of us with daily encouragement and accountability as we all strive together. Praise the Lord for He is good!!!! And friends are definitely a blessing from the Lord.
