ESV beach day

Oh the beach.... Well ESV decided that we needed a "girl" day, so off we went to the beach. Did we know where we were going??? No. Of course not, we let the car lead the way.....or we drove until we could find parking. We started in Oceanside and ended up in Cardiff. Seriously a beautiful drive. God made everything beautiful in creation. It really does remind you of the beauty and majesty of our great God.
After a relaxing time laying out in the sun, we were off once again on a journey in the car. It is always an adventure when we are together. About 10 minutes after our snack stop, we were waiting at a red light behind about four men on motorcycles. One of these lovely men decided to start a fight and spit on a man inside of a tow truck next to then. (Yes this all took place at a red light right in front of our car) The tow truck guy drove away from these "special" guys. This made a member of ESV very angry and ready to fight with the guys on the motorcycles (This member will remain nameless to protect her innocence). We had to remind all members of ESV to keep windows rolled up at all times and that cheese its and oreos are not throwing devices. What can I say? That's ESV!!!
After our moment with the motorcyclists, we had dinner on the pier and enjoyed some sweet fellowship followed by a scenic drive home. GOTTA ESV!!! ALWAYS ADVENTURE!!!

Papa Joe's Diner

Saturday was another special day for ESV. Through the use of the most amazing coupon book (the entertainment book, E discovered a restaurant by the name of Papa Joe's Diner which made E and I decide that we needed to take S and "Papa Joe" to his diner. After careful planning, E and I told S and "Papa Joe" that we planned a special surprise on Saturday for them. We didn't tell them where we were going and E and I actually wanted to blind fold them but we decided not when the time came. So E and I (Bro. Kevin and a friend came too!) drove them to the pizza place in Riverside. Yes, we drove alllllll the way to Riverside just for pizza. As we pulled up, all the driving was worth the reaction from both of them. We just love our "fam". Being brothers and sisters in Christ is a wonderful blessing that provides all of us with daily encouragement and accountability as we all strive together. Praise the Lord for He is good!!!! And friends are definitely a blessing from the Lord.

I miss ESV

Well resolved was amazing!!!! It was a wonderful time of teaching. I learned so much about the King of Kings. I was so blessed by the worship. There is nothing more peaceful and freeing then worshiping the Savior. Here is a quick line from one of my favorites,
"All consuming fire, You are my heart's desire. Burn away all the sin in me. Oh Savior God Almighty, draw near and purify me and give me grace as I find my way back to you."-Enfield.

So since resolved, I haven't seen E or S. I am really missing my girls. I know we have all been really busy with summer stuff but we need to hang out. I am just so blessed by all my friends, they are just so encouraging. I am so thankful for my sisters in Christ!

Our "Fam"

S and I teach the K-1st class at our church (FBC). Today in class we had the kids draw their families. So I decided to draw our "fam". From left to right we have: "Papa Joe" (Joe Cortopassi) who is dating "Mama Cort" (Cortney Salagi "aka" S), "Big Sister" (Vanessa Sauvageau "aka" V), "Little Sister" (Emma Wilkes "aka" E), "Brother" (Kevin Clark), "Dumpster Child" (Wes Langdon) , and "The Wife" (Sara Bennett). We are all such good friends that we feel like family. People may find it weird but we don't care. We are who we are and we wouldn't have it any other way :)

Moving Day :(

So V moved out of her apartment of 19 months today. There are so many memories in there. Girl's Bible study, movie nights, game nights, lots of food, me sleeping on the floor in the middle of "Friends" night, Samson (her puppy) and his many issues, and so much more! It was a very sad day to see her place all empty :( Sooo, E and I decided to cheer everyone up a little. When everybody left to put the furniture in the storage unit, we took styrofoam plates and cups and stuck them all over her walls on the nails her pictures used to hang on and we wrote messages and quotes all over them. After everybody came back and got to read all them we ended up going crazy with styrofoam by tearing it all into little tiny pieces and then throwing it into the ceiling fan. According to V, "It's a Christmas miracle!" There was styrofoam everywhere, but it's okay because it's not like her landlord is giving her the deposit back, lol! :P Pictures will be posted shortly.
